ND31U

ND31U - Power network meters with Ethernet Daisy and MQTT, BACNET/IP or MODBUS TCP/IP protocols UL certified

The ND31U meter is a programmable digital instrument designed for the measurement of 1-phase 2- and 3-wire and 3-phase 3 and 4-wire power network parameters in balanced or unbalanced systems.

It features two built-in Ethernet ports with Daisy Chain support, allowing for serial device connections without the need for external switches.

Configuration designed for the U.S. and Canadian markets.

Characteristics

  • Measurement of 54 power network parameters, including current and voltage harmonics up to 63rd in 1-phase 2- or 3-wire or 3-phase 3 or 4-wire balanced and unbalanced systems.
  • Ethernet Daisy Chain Topology – Fewer Cables, More Possibilities.
The ND31U features two RJ45 Ethernet ports, allowing devices to be connected in a daisy chain topology – that is, in a serial connection of Ethernet devices without requiring a switch between each one.

What does this mean in practice?

  • Saves space in control cabinets – no industrial switches needed,
  • Reduces cable and hardware costs – one cable links device to device,
  • Faster installation and fewer errors – simplified wiring,
  • Easy scalability – add new devices without modifying the existing setup,
  • Neater installations – fewer cables for a cleaner cabinet layout.

Thanks to these advantages, ND31U is ideal for large switchboards, production lines, energy installations, and any application where the number of Ethernet devices is growing, and both space and time are critical factors.
